Weekend Recap

This might be a quick on as I am anticipating a mid morning feeding coming on any time now. :)

I'll just stick with some bullet point and photos. Our weekends now seem so jam packed and yet we do almost nothing. I guess that's pretty much par for the course with a newborn. :)

Here are three pics to start off the post...

Is this hat not the cutest thing ever?!...

The baby hawk...

And one of the few pics with Mommy...

-Friday night. Did nothing. Got takeout from my favorite downtown Thai place-- Sen. I went with the pad thai which was delicious but afterwards I freaked out because it had peanuts in it. While I'm just fine with peanuts, many of my family members have a pretty strong peanut allergy. I wasn't even sure if that kind of thing can affect an allergic person after being passed via breastmilk. In the end it turned out just fine. My baby was fine and I freaked out for nothing.

-Saturday Day. I actually escaped and went to Whole Foods and left my two boys home together. Quite an outing when you can barely leave the house. I really need to get a handle on the whole breast pumping thing so I can have a little for freedom when I need it. I have been holding out pumping because breast feeding is going so well for us. I really don't want to mess up the good thing we have going. That whole supply and demand thing seems like just a delicate relationship. I guess I just need to suck it up and try it.

-Saturday Night. We had some family over and I got a little irritated because they came late and stayed late. Our evenings are pretty busy with trying to get dinner together, feedings, showers, etc. Plus it's some of our only family time together. I ended up going to bed way to late that night.

-Sunday. Daddy had to head to Atlanta for business, so baby and I went on some outings. First we visited my grandpa and then we went over to my Mom's. We spent the rest of the day there and watched the Superbowl. We were rooting for the Saints but didn't have the appropriate baby wardrobe, so he went wore solid brown and dressed up as a football instead. :)

Well, someone is starting to coo from his little seat next to me, so I had better assume the feeding position. :)
