-I know that some people are just not physically able to breast feed for many reasons. After a month of breast feeding I cannot understand why people choose to formula feed if they have the ability to breast feed. I'm not even talking about nutrition or any of that good stuff-- I'm just talking about the ease of always having the milk warm and ready. I can't imagine all of those late night feedings if I had to deal with bottles and warming, etc. The boob so much more handy!
- I'm getting antsy for my newborn pics. I was told they would be online after two weeks. Well, tomorrow will be three weeks. I checked in with the photographer earlier this week and she apologized and said I would have them by the end of the week. I'm not patient when it comes to these things.
-Should I send out birth announcements? I always thought I would mainly because I love anything to do with stationary, mail, paper products, graphic design, etc. However-- obviously everyone we would be sending an announcement to already knows about the birth. Is it stupid to send announcements anyways? Is it a cute gesture or just a waste of money?
- I just got a Nordstrom's catalog and they have some adorable high heeled sandals in it. Ignoring the fact that it isn't going to be sandal wearing weather for quite some time, it would still be ridiculous to purchase such an item, right? I mean, I'm a stay at home mom. Am I really going to be going many places to wear heels? I really need to work on my stay at home mom look. I'm currently living in yoga pants and hoodies unless I'm having guests over in which case I "dress up" by putting on jeans. I really need some new cute but casual wear so I don't look like a shlub most of the time. Also, my old work wardrobe should probably just be donated or something. I barely wear any of it any more and don't really see myself wearing much of it in the near future other than to church.
-I have started perusing real estate websites again. It was always a hobby of mine but I haven't really looked at any since before the holidays. I can tell we are going to be outgrowing this house sooner rather than later, so I want to stay up to date on what is out there. So far....absolutely nothing. I am way too picky and think we might stay in this house forever if I don't either learn to make compromises in terms of finishes (cabinetry, flooring, etc) or decide to build a house so I can pick everything out. (This would keep up in our current house for way longer though...) I'll keep you posted.
Have a good weekend everyone!
