Our Big Boy

I have been a bad blogger lately, but it just seems like we have a ton going on right now. There is actually some big news on the horizon in regards to our home search, but I don't want to write about it too soon and jinx it, so you'll have to be patient. :)

Just thought I would check in today and let you know about our little man's growth. I don't think I can go on referring to him as our "little man" anymore though. "Big boy" is more like it. He weighed in at 15 lbs, 1 ounce and is 25.5 inches long. This puts him on the 90th percentile for weight and the 97th percentile for height. My pediatrician wanted to know what I've been feeding this guy! Developmentally he seems to be right on track in terms of his skills, etc, which is all any mother can hope for. We are so blessed to have a healthy little (big) boy.

I seriously cry when I think about how fast time is going and how quickly he changes. Of course I want him to grow and learn new things, but that doesn't stop me from getting all weepy about it. His dad likes to tease me and constantly talks about how big he's getting just to see me suffer. What a jerk. :)
